Testing in test mode
Test-mode keys give you a fully isolated sandbox. All API responses, webhooks, and ledger entries behave identically to live mode — but no real money moves.
Test card numbers
| Number | Behavior |
|---|---|
4242 4242 4242 4242 | Succeeds. |
4000 0000 0000 9995 | Insufficient funds. |
4000 0000 0000 0002 | Card declined. |
4000 0027 6000 3184 | Requires 3-D Secure authentication. |
4000 0000 0000 0259 | Charge succeeds, then disputes 4 days later. |
Any future expiration date and any 3-digit CVC are accepted.
Triggering webhooks
From Dashboard → Webhooks, you can replay any past event or send a synthetic event of any type. The signature is identical to live deliveries.
USDC test wallet
Test-mode USDC uses Circle's sandbox. Any USDC payment in test mode credits a virtual wallet tied to your account; the real Circle/Solana network is never touched.
Switching to live
- Complete business verification.
- Swap your secret key from
sk_test_…tosk_live_…. - Update your webhook URL to its production hostname.
- Run one end-to-end charge for a small amount and confirm settlement in Dashboard → Settlements.
